Kalbe Farma was established in 1966. On December 16, 2005, the management of Kalbe effected the merger of Dankos and PT Enseval ("Enseval") into the company to create the largest publicly listed pharmaceutical company in Southeast Asia. This merger will provide a strong basis for Kalbe's future growth by facilitating economies of scale and improved efficiency and effectiveness.
