Our client is a publicly listed retail chain company belonging to a local conglomerate that has expanded into China. In line with its growth thrusts, it seeks to appoint a:
Deputy CFO(Jakarta Raya - Karawaci, Tangerang)
Responsibilities:
• Render Project Management roles (legal, financial and administrative aspects) for start-up of stores in China.
• Prepare Information Memoranda; financial projections; financial modelling; and undertake valuation studies.
• Review of cash requirements and cash flow projections submitted by the China business unit.
• Serve as a link between China operations and the local headquarters.
• Provide back-up to all corporate finance activities that the company will undertake.
• Provide analysis of financial and operating performance results; extract relevant MIS reports and contribute to implement new reporting schedules and improve reporting tools.
• Strengthen presentation, accuracy and understanding of analytical data.
Requirements:
• At least 30 years old; Accounting, Finance or Economics degree holder; Mandarin will be an advantage.
• Ideally, career has been honed in a consulting or securities firm with developed corporate finance business.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; a number cruncher; strategic thinker and a doer.
• Self-starter; detailed oriented; pro-active; and hands on approach.
• Job requires high tolerance and strong team work within an international environment.
• Occasional travel to China is essential.
