The World Bank as the Trustee of the Multi Donor Fund for Aceh and Nias is seeking qualified individual to support its operations. The Multi Donor Fund is a partnership of the international community, Indonesian goverment and civil society to support the recovery following the erathquakes and tsunami. It contributes to the recovery process by providing grant for quality investment that are based on good practice, stakeholder participant and coordination with others. In doing so, The Multi Donor Fund seeks to reduce proverty, (re) build capacity, support good govermance and enhance sustainable development (http://www.multidonorfund.org/).
Portfolio Officer
2 years Co-Term Appoinment
The appointee will specifically be tasked with :
- Dialogue with BPR and central goverment agencies, local goverment and related agencies, and relevant partner agencies to accomplish tasks set forth
- MDF Secretariat tasks which includes reviewing project concept notes, project appraisal document, engaging in supervision mission, quarterly portfolio management reports and quarterly financial reports preparations, and other tasks related to and portfolio issues
- Project related tasks
The overall objective of the assignments is to assist the MDF Manager in carrying out his duties to operate the Fund. General tasks covered by this assignment include : Overall project implementation oversight, engage in dialogue over structural and recurrent issues in project management, including those arising from supervision reports, anti-corruption framework design and compliance. Minimum Education/Experience :
- Master Degree is a must
- Proven track record in managing financial portfolio including experience with donor-funded programs
- 10 years of directly related Bank and/or external experience, including dicrect exposure to the full range of country operational situations relevant to Bank Financial Management work and thorough knowledge of Bank operational policies, processes, procedures and results orientation
