Trainee Seismic Observer - Jakarta Raya
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain and are responsible for the expensive electronic equipment used to record seismic signals
- Perform daily and monthly instrument tests, and ensure all equipment meets tolerance specifications
- Troubleshoot problems and repair recording equipment
- Document recording operations
- Ensure the quality of recorded data at the field level
- Supervise the work of line truck drivers and as many as thirty helpers as they prepare areas for seismic tests.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree (S1), majoring in Geophysics (GPA min 2,8 scale of 4.00)
- Maximum 25 years old
- Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply
- Good Attitude, hard working and team player
- Active English and MS Office familiarity are a must
- Interest in working outdoors (in some cases, in isolated locations) and using various forms of wilderness transportation
- Able to do a lot of traveling and often spend extended periods of time away from home, living and working in close contact with a limited number of people.
